Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in Lubbock, TX, invites applications for an Instructor/Assistant Professor in the Traditional Undergraduate program. You will deliver didactic and clinical instruction, participate in curriculum planning, and advise students while engaging in scholarly activities.

The position requires an MS in Nursing, Texas RN licensure, and at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited university.
Current RN license in the State of Texas or ability to transfer.
Two years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Maintains academic standards as established by the school and the university.
Teaches students in online, clinical, laboratory, and classroom settings.
Assumes responsibility for and/or participates in the planning and organization of courses to which assigned.
Provides academic advising/counseling to assigned students.
Participates in curriculum development and program activities.
Plans professional development activities for self and peers.
Participates in university committees and professional associations.
Incorporates new knowledge and techniques in teaching.
