Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing in Texas seeks Core Nursing Faculty to deliver instruction, advance course objectives, and contribute to the College’s mission by upholding our values of Passion, Excellence, Adaptability, Accountability, and Integrity.

You will develop and evaluate curricula, lead simulation learning in the Nursing Lab, mentor faculty and students, evaluate didactic and clinical work, and participate in governance and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; if not in nursing, a nursing degree plus a related graduate degree is needed.
• Minimum nursing licensure as a registered nurse in the teaching location.
• Experience teaching in a nursing program is preferred.
• Maintain FERPA training and guidelines compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, teaches, and evaluates the nursing education curriculum.
• Designs, teaches, and revises curriculum and maintains program outcomes.
• Leads simulation learning experiences in the Nursing Lab.
• Teaches at least 36 credits annually and evaluates students.
• Mentors faculty, adjuncts, and students and participates in governance.
