Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking an onsite Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to guide caregiver orientation and ongoing learning. The role requires mentoring preceptors and applying adult learning principles to close education gaps.

You will collaborate with care teams to promote evidence-based practices, advance nursing development, and support patient outcomes through effective orientation and continuing education.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program; license verified.
• Current RN license in the state of practice (Montana preferred).
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Demonstrated experience in adult or staff development and nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource and mentor to caregivers and preceptors, promoting self-reliance and teamwork.
• Collaborate with organization-wide colleagues to identify learning needs and implement evidence-based practices.
• Provide coaching to clinical coaches and caregivers for ongoing personal learning and growth.
• Lead interprofessional learning and advancement of nursing practice within the care site.
