Job summary

Orbis Education seeks a Clinical Faculty Coordinator in Rancho Cucamonga, CA to support Concordia University Irvine's Accelerated BSN program. You will work with the Director to manage clinical adjunct faculty and sites, ensuring alignment with course outcomes and program goals.

The role requires a CA RN license and a BSN, with teaching experience and strong communication. You will mentor new adjunct faculty, monitor compliance, and may teach in lab or clinical courses.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• MSN preferred
• Unencumbered CA RN License
• Two years combined teaching experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with adult learners from diverse backgrounds
• Self-directed and innovative
• Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a team

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Director to identify, select, monitor, and evaluate all clinical adjunct faculty and clinical sites.
• Work with course faculty to align clinical experiences with course and program outcomes/goals.
• Serve as the first point-of-contact for resolution of clinical personnel issues between staff at the clinical site and faculty/students.
• Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty regarding their site and nursing coursework.
• Mentor new adjunct faculty in clinical teaching activities.
• Verify student and faculty clinical compliance.
• Monitor clinical attendance and manage clinical makeups.
• May have teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical course.
