Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Unencumbered CA RN License.
• Two years teaching experience as a preceptor or adjunct clinical instructor.
• Strong communication and teamwork with adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, monitor, and evaluate clinical adjunct faculty and sites.
• Align clinical experiences with course and program outcomes.
• Resolve clinical personnel issues between site staff, faculty, and students.
• Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty.
• Mentor new adjunct faculty in clinical teaching.
• Verify student and faculty clinical compliance.
• Monitor clinical attendance and manage makeups.
• May teach in lab or clinical course.
