Job summary

Concordia University Irvine invites applications for a Director of Nursing Services for its Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program hosted at Rancho Cucamonga. You will provide administrative and clinical academic leadership as the site leader, guiding curriculum delivery via blended learning to boost student success.

You will lead operations, staff development, retention strategies, and collaboration with Concordia University Irvine and health partners to ensure quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• RN licensure in state of site locations and eligibility for RN licensure in state of educational partner, if required.
• Graduate degree in nursing or another related field from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing practice.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience, including supervision of personnel.
• Three years didactic, clinical, or online teaching experience.
• Academic leadership experience.
• Nursing certification.
• Online teaching experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement operational management of clinical, lab, and simulation activities.
• Establish systems to measure performance and development.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on operational issues and plans.
• Manage direct reporting staff and ensure qualifications are met.
• Recruit, retain, and evaluate staff.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff.
• Coordinate with health care and university partners.
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee nursing clinical sites and student experiences.
• Visit healthcare agencies each semester and drive improvements.
