Orbis Education seeks a Director of Nursing Services for Concordia University Irvine’s ABSN program located in Rancho Cucamonga. You will lead administrative and clinical academic operations, collaborating with the nursing academic team to advance student success in a blended learning ABSN curriculum.

The role emphasizes curriculum delivery oversight, faculty support, retention strategies, and data-driven evaluation, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, inventory, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• RN licensure in state of practice required.
• Graduate degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Three years of teaching experience in didactic, clinical, or online formats.
• Academic leadership experience preferred.
• Nursing certification preferred.
• Online teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement strategy for operational management of clinical, lab, and simulation activities to meet partner goals.
• Establish and maintain systems for measuring operational management and strategic development.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on operational issues and progress within timelines.
• Manage direct reporting staff and ensure qualifications and requirements are met.
• Recruit, retain, and evaluate staff according to outlined roles.
• Coach and provide professional development for staff.
• Communicate with staff and act as liaison with university partner.
• Develop strategies to reinforce organization and partner culture and values.
• Assist in budgeting and cost management.
• Provide clinical and academic guidance in problem-solving with partners.
• Collaborate with campus teams and departments.
• Fill in for labs, simulation, or clinical courses when required.
• Secure and manage inventory for clinical activities.
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
