Job summary

Northeast Arc seeks a Director of Nursing for its Residential Division to lead clinical services, coordinate care, and supervise residential nurses. The role ensures maximum health outcomes for individuals served, with direct case management as needed and collaboration with the Residential Division Director.

The position requires MA RN licensure, a bachelor's in nursing (preferred), and at least three years of nursing and supervisory experience, including elder or disabled care, along with MAP

Qualifications

• RN licensed by the MA Board of Nursing.
• Minimum three years nursing experience including elder/disabled care.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• MAP knowledge and training in MAP compliance.
• Strong knowledge of laws and guidelines for disabilities.
• Proficiency with computers and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures nursing services meet acute, episodic, and long-term care needs by designing, implementing, and evaluating service systems.
• Supervises nursing staff through direct observation, reviews, and regular meetings to ensure competency and proper procedures.
• Oversees Nursing Department activities by setting performance guidelines and reviewing outcomes for adequate care coordination.
• Collaborates with supervisors and management to address staff training and service needs.
