Northeast Residential Services is seeking an Area Director in Maine to oversee multiple residential homes and services, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires leading managers, coordinating admissions and staffing, and maintaining documentation while reporting to the Director of Residential Services. Significant interaction with residents, families, and external partners is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in residential services.
• Proactive, empathetic leader with strong compliance focus.
• Knowledge of HCBS regulations and Maine licensing requirements.
• Must pass criminal, APS, and CPS background checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple residential facilities and services.
• Manage staffing patterns and payroll verification.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely reporting to authorities.
• Lead team meetings and support staff development.
• Coordinate with external partners and community stakeholders.
