Alden Estates of Jefferson is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our Nursing Department and its healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care. The role sits on our leadership team, shaping policies, staffing, and daily operational excellence.

The Director of Nursing will supervise nursing staff, develop procedures, and collaborate across departments while contributing to budgeting and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license.
• Minimum 1 year nursing administration experience.
• CPR certification or willing to obtain within two weeks.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, staff, and regulators.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Personable, enthusiastic, and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of excellence, inspire teamwork, and promote a positive work environment.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance to ensure high-quality care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards of practice for the Nursing Department.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
• Participate in budget development and management, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and drive improvement actions.
