Job summary

Exton Post Acute is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations, collaborate with the administrator and consultants, and champion high-quality resident care in a 120-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting.

The role requires an RN license, 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, and supervisory skills. Strong communication and adherence to nursing regulations are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in this state is required.
• Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in hospital, nursing facility, or related setting.
• Supervisory experience with leadership principles, staff development, and teaching required.
• Rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and professional interaction with residents, families, staff and external agencies.
• Knowledge of laws and guidelines governing nursing care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing to plan nursing operations and allocate responsibilities.
• Champion care standards for the dialysis den and coordinate services.
• Monitor unit activities, enforce policies, evaluate performance, and provide coaching and discipline as needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct rounds to monitor care delivery, environment, and staff morale.
• Oversee administrative functions to support efficient nursing services.
