Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking an experienced Nursing Director to plan, organize, and direct the Nursing Department ensuring quality care and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

The role requires current RN licensure in IL or WI, at least 1 year in nursing service administration, and CPR certification. Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN license for IL and/or WI.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing service administration experience.
• Must have CPR certification or become certified within two weeks of employment.
• Must read, write and speak English clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, direct and delegate the Nursing Department operations.
• Ensure nursing procedures follow established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to promote quality care and rehab services.
• Maintain adequate staffing and ensure documentation and chart audits are completed.
• Manage budget, orders, and equipment within policy guidelines.
