Job summary

BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington & Woburn is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations, develop the nursing team, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional home health care.

You will oversee patient care quality, coordinate with physicians and partners, and drive continuous improvements in clinical outcomes. A strong nursing leadership background and MA RN license are required, with a focus on compassionate, results‑oriented care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts.
• Current CPR certification.
• 3–5 years clinical nursing experience; home health preferred.
• Experience in nursing leadership or management.
• Strong documentation, care planning, and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all clinical operations and staff.
• Mentor RNs, LPNs, therapists, and home health aides.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop clinical team members.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Oversee care plans, medications, and coordination of care.
• Collaborate with hospitals and physicians to support continuity of care.
