Job summary

BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington & Woburn is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations, develop our nursing team, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional home health care in Massachusetts.

The DON will supervise RNs, LPNs, therapists, and aides, drive quality improvements, and coordinate care with physicians and hospitals. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts.
• Current CPR certification.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, home health preferred.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.
• Strong documentation, care planning, and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with IV therapy, wound care, and G-tube care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all clinical operations and staff.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop RNs, LPNs, therapists, and aides.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop clinical team members.
• Ensure quality assurance, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, and partners to coordinate care.
• Support referrals and drive service quality and growth.
