Management & Training Corporation's IAH Detention Facility in Livingston, TX seeks a dedicated nurse to lead nursing services and supervise clinical staff in the medical unit. You will execute physician orders, dispense medications, and assist with examinations in compliance with policy.

Ideal candidates bring RN licensure in Texas (or compact state), CPR certification, and 3+ years of nursing with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in TX or a compact state.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 3 years professional nursing experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Supervise registered nurse II and LVN II in the medical unit.
• Direct management of nursing services and supervision of ancillary clinical staff.
• Execute physician's orders, dispense and administer medications, assist examinations and treatments.
• Monitor the medical unit, ensure adequate staffing and shift coverage.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and ensure compliance with policies.
