HMG Healthcare LLC seeks an Assistant Director of Nurses - LVN/RN in Nacogdoches, TX. This leadership role supports the Director of Nursing, oversees daily nursing operations, mentors staff, and ensures regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, Texas licensure (LVN/RN), and strong leadership with infection control knowledge.
Qualifications
- Current and valid LVN or RN license in Texas.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards.
- Experience with Infection Control/Prevention and healthcare documentation systems (EHR).
Responsabilités
- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing nursing staff schedules, assignments, and evaluations.
- Provide direct supervision to LVNs and nursing staff, promoting development and best practices.
- Monitor patient care activities to ensure compliance with protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
- Develop and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and quality programs.
- Respond to patient and family concerns with compassionate care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing activities and staffing.
