Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the IAH Detention Facility in Livingston, TX. The Health Services Administrator oversees nursing services and the clinical staff in the medical unit, ensuring physician orders are executed and medications are administered accurately.

The role requires a Texas-licensed RN with CPR certification and at least three years of professional nursing experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity. A valid Texas driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Registered Nursing program and a minimum of three years professional nursing experience with one year supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed registered nurse in the state of Texas or a compact state.
• Must possess current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.

Responsabilités

• Supervises nursing staff and coordinates medical unit activities.
• Ensures compliance with physician orders and patient care protocols.
• Maintains security and confidentiality of medical records.
• Oversees medication administration and patient examinations as directed by physicians.
• Coordinates referrals to emergency services based on medical condition.
• Monitors staffing levels and assigns duties to nursing personnel.
• Conducts in-services and audits to improve clinical operations.
• Ensures OSHA and facility safety standards are followed.
