Arcadia Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, organize, develop, and direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained.

The DON will lead nursing services, coordinate with resident care teams, perform administrative duties, and ensure adequate staffing and safety equipment for each shift to maintain

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a RN.
• 3 years of experience in a supervisor healthcare role, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct daily nursing functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident care teams for continuity.
• Perform administrative duties such as forms, reports, and charting.
• Ensure adequate staffing and resources to maintain quality care per shift.
