Job summary

Dart Healthcare Staffing seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Department in a health care facility, planning, developing and operating nursing services to ensure residents receive quality care around the clock.

You will direct staff, ensure regulatory compliance, implement policies, manage budget, and coordinate with other departments to maintain safety and quality of care for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and current RN license.
• CPR certification and ability to manage nursing staff.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in long-term or acute care management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises nursing staff activities.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develops and updates department policies and procedures.
• Plans staffing to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in surveys and addresses deficiencies.
• Manages budgetary guidelines for the Nursing Department.
• Performs staff performance reviews and provides guidance.
• Maintains infection control and safety practices.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Oversees admissions transfers and department meetings.
