Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Director of Nursing to establish and enforce 24-hour resident care standards within a skilled nursing facility. You will supervise all nursing personnel, coordinate with administration and physicians, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will lead staffing decisions, manage budgets for nursing resources, and oversee quality initiatives and QA meetings, reporting to the Administrator and HR as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement nursing standards for 24-hour resident care.
• Supervise and evaluate all nursing personnel on all shifts.
• Coordinate nursing services with administrators, physicians, families and facilities.
• Maintain documentation for licenses, CPR, and required certifications.
• Monitor staffing levels and manage budgeted nursing resources (PPD).
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and quality initiatives.
• Lead the weekly nursing and QA meetings and report to Administrator/HR.
