Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related health care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must read/write/speak English proficiently.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, and applicable laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize and direct the nursing service department and its programs in accordance with regulations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure staffing levels and scheduling meet resident needs and quality standards.
• Assist HR with annual performance evaluations and fair disciplinary processes.
• Support infection control and TB management programs.
• Oversee MDS/Care Plan coordination and resident care planning.
