Qualifications

• RN license Ohio; three years nursing experience; two supervisory experience required.
• Must possess current CPR certification.
• Must work within the Ohio State Board of Nursing scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision of nursing staff and nursing care.
• Attend sick call with the physicians to see inmates; prepare the examining room and equipment.
• Call the Physician for medication and treatment orders and other emergencies.
• Examine and assess inmates with illnesses or injuries; refer to emergency room as required and document in medical records.
• Maintain the current master list of inmates and employees with CID needs or completed CID services.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement all public health programs required by state codes.
