Presbyterian Homes & Services in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Director of Nursing / Clinical Administrator to lead the Long-Term Care clinical team and ensure high quality resident care. The role reports to the Administrator and supervises clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, and care coordinators.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with 3–5 years of nursing leadership, strong management, and regulatory knowledge, committed to compassionate elder care and building a collaborative care

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years leadership experience in nursing.
• Competencies in health care management and operations.
• Experience with staff development and resident/family support systems.
• Knowledge of gerontological nursing and restorative practices.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, evaluate and direct clinical staff and programs to deliver high quality resident care in line with regulations.
• Participate in site leadership, planning and programming to meet short/long-term goals.
• Create an environment that supports resident independence, dignity and well-being.
• Establish effective communication systems with customers and oversee nursing care processes.
• Monitor completeness/accuracy of the medical records relevant to nursing care.
