Tampa Bay Joint & Spine Surgery Center is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead pre-op, PACU and GI nursing teams in our ambulatory surgery center in Florida. You will oversee clinical management, staffing, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Nursing, a Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 3 years in surgery. CNOR preferred. You’ll report to Administration and have opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Bachelor's degree (REQUIRED) in nursing with work-related experience.
• Current FL RN License.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• CNOR strongly preferred.
• Independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors.

Responsabilités

• Manage and supervise all surgical areas of care for Pre-Op, PACU & GI.
• Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the Administrator.
• Ensure day-to-day operations comply with clinical practice standards and center policies.
• Ensure sufficient staffing daily and communicate scheduling changes timely.
• Monitor nursing care provided and participate in quality evaluation.
• Provide breaks and ensure coverage for meal breaks, late cases, and shortages.
• Ensure materials are ready for each case in advance and transitions between procedures are smooth.
• Delegate, coach, mentor, and resolve conflicts within the team.
• Build trust and gain respect through strong leadership and participation.
