Job summary

The Villa at Mountain View in Dallas, TX seeks a Director of Nursing Services to oversee clinical operations in a skilled nursing facility. You will lead the Nursing Department and ensure regulatory compliance and quality outcomes with 24/7 leadership responsibility.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have at least 2 years of DON/ADON supervision, and excel in survey readiness, staff development, and interdepartmental collaboration with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience as a DON/ADON in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Experience with survey readiness, Plans of Correction, and quality improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership to coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical leadership to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
• Direct and support nursing staff in delivery of safe, effective care.
• Oversee comprehensive care planning and ensure interdisciplinary coordination.
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, privacy, consent, and safety.
• Ensure timely communication with physicians, families and responsible parties.
• Participate in pre-admission assessments and admissions with Administrator.
