Qualifications

• Bachelor0s degree in nursing is required.
• Master0s degree or combination of bachelor0s degree and experience preferred.
• Two years of leadership or management experience required.
• Five years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• One year of professional work as an RN supervisor is desirable.
• Maintain continuing education requirements as required by licensing board.
• Substance abuse treatment and/or primary care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs services, workflow, and resources for the nursing department.
• Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment and care plan development.
• Plans and directs staffing, scheduling shifts, orientation, and continuing education.
• Prepares and monitors budgets and ensures audits are conducted.
• Oversees nursing staffing levels to maintain quality patient care.
