Job summary

JoVE is seeking a creative Nursing Content Writer/Creator to join our team to produce educational videos focused on nursing. You will research, write, and adapt content for script, voiceover, and accompanying materials, ensuring accuracy and engaging delivery for students and professionals.

You will collaborate with global teams to storyboard, format technical documents, and uphold high standards of clinical writing, proofreading, and summarization, while meeting tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing and RN with 3+ years of relevant experience (either in clinical and/or managed care settings or teaching).
• Strong knowledge in best practices for clinical care.
• Clinical writing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in literature research and the ability to succinctly summarize key points.
• Fluency in English writing and grammar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Experience proofreading documents for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and content with attention to detail.
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize tasks, comfortably multitask, complete high-quality documents according to timelines, and perform with changing priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Researches and writes original content on nursing.
• Follow our guidelines for script generation to produce informative, interesting, and accurate voiceovers.
• Create storyboards that guide the work of professional animators.
• Generate technical documents using our guidelines to provide instructions to media professionals such as voice talent, videographers, video editors, and animators.
• Review content and provide feedback based on knowledge and expertise of clinical and/or managed care settings.
