Job summary

Qualifications

• MSN degree from an NLN or CCNE-accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years' experience in clinical nursing practice or an acute care setting.
• Classroom and clinical teaching experience in nursing program within last five years.
• Proficient with technology.
• Able to meet challenges of adult learners with diverse backgrounds.
• Self-directed and innovative.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit clinical sites 1–2 times during 5–8 week courses and twice during 15–16 week courses to support learning.
• Assist DNS to identify, contract with, monitor, and evaluate all clinical adjunct faculty.
• Coordinate orientation, training, and development guidance for clinical faculty.
• Serve as first point of contact for resolution of clinical personnel issues between site staff, faculty and students.
• Verify and work with DNS/faculty/administration for clinical makeup requirements.
• Provide input into evaluation processes of clinical adjunct instructors/preceptors.
• Ensure all evaluations for faculty and agencies are completed and tallied.
