Job summary

Qualifications

BSN required; must enroll in GCU MSN Leadership or MSN Education program immediately upon hire, paid for by GCU or BSN with graduate credits/certification.
5 years' RN clinical experience with 3 years' Med-Surg direct care.
MSN preferred; 2 years' direct Med-Surg experience; CFA not required if Master's degree conferred.
Active, current, multi-state RN license; ability to pass drug test and competency testing.

Responsibilities

Reinforce didactic content and teaching for pre-licensure nursing.
Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives.
Grade written and clinical performance check-offs.
Stay current with trends in nursing practice and accreditation requirements.
Travel to GCU student sites for direct observation during clinical rotations and labs.
