Qualifications

• Masters preferred; or higher in Nursing.
• Bachelor's in nursing with 3 years of direct Critical Care nursing experience and enrolled in graduate program or hold relevant national certification.
• Active, current RN license (AZ or multi-state, compact)

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach necessary knowledge and skills for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance checkoffs.
• Stay current with trends and developments in nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with program accreditation requirements.
• Uphold nursing as a holistic profession and align with the university values.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance during rotations.
• Support the program and university philosophy, mission, and community service.
• Provide a positive example to students by upholding the Doctrinal Statement and Ethical Position Statement
