Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide safe, patient-centered care under supervision from registered nurses or physicians. You will collaborate with the Nursing Team on your unit and uphold our Service Excellence standards for all patient and teammate interactions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess one of CNA, EMT or Medical Assistant certificates.
• Current enrollment in LVN, ADN or BSN program with fundamentals completed.
• BLS certification or obtained during orientation.
• De-escalation class within first year of hire as required by site.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Provides safe, competent patient-centered care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The certified nursing assistant provides care under the direction of the registered nurse or physician. Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.
