Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration at Saint Cloud VA Medical Center in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support residents in the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program. You will provide safe physical and emotional care, assist with daily interventions, observe and report changes, and help Veterans work toward greater self-care in a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of general experience or related education/training.
• Completion of an intensive NA-related program may meet experience requirements.
• Knows how to observe and report changes in resident status.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care following established procedures and policies.
• Collect and document patient data including vital signs and specimens.
• Observe patient status and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Maintain clean, organized clinical areas and restock supplies.
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and team members.
