Job summary

The Nursing Assistant position is based at the VA Community Living Center in the Saint Cloud VA Medical Center, Saint Cloud, MN. Staff deliver safe, basic physical and emotional care to residents and support nursing staff with activities of daily living and routine medical care.

Qualifications

• Six months of general experience or equivalent to perform NA duties.
• One year of education above high school with courses related to nursing care.
• Completion of an intensive, occupation-related training course of study or program of less than one year as a NA.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, basic physical and emotional care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living under supervision of RN or LPN.
• Develop technical skills while assisting with nursing care in various settings.

Education

One year of education above high school with related courses

Intensive occupation-related training program (less than one year)
