Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant Unit Clerk for the Intensive Care Unit at Springfield Regional Medical Center to support direct patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes compassionate, team-based care and accurate documentation in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required or preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred.
• Nursing student with first clinical rotation complete or state testing complete (required).
• Successful completion of PCT training program within 6 months of start date.
• Experience in acute or long-term care facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and comfort, and assist with mobility.
• Report changes to the nurse and act as liaison.
• Deliver high level customer service to patients and families.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Maintain professional communication with the healthcare team.
