Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required within four months of employment.
• For applicable states, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.
• Dependent on facility, may require Sanford driving qualification and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, transfers, meals, and daily living activities under supervision.
• Document client care and communicate changes to a licensed nurse.
• Follow infection prevention protocols, use of PPE, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
