Job summary

Temple Health's Nursing Assistant position in the Telemetry Unit at Jeanes Campus in Philadelphia seeks a dedicated caregiver. The role supports RN staff by handling patient care tasks during the 7pm–7:30am night shift on a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or nursing student rotation; BLS required; CNA preferred.

Qualifications

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
