Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Telemetry Unit at Jeanes Campus. The role supports RN-led patient care during the 7pm-7:30am night shift, on-site at 7600 Central Avenue, Philadelphia. Requires BLS and CNA credentials, with 1 year preferred.

The position is full-time with a 36-hour weekly schedule and Night Flex shift. Education options include HS diploma or approved CNA program; combinations of related education and experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with clinical rotation required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing staff.
• Perform additional functions for which prepared, aligned with Customer Service Program concepts.
• Accountable to Nurse Manager for all activities.

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
