Job summary

Temple Health's TUH-Jeanes Campus in Northeast Philadelphia seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department. This full-time role supports RN staff with direct and indirect patient care, including vital signs, nursing tasks, and basic clinical procedures.

You will perform ECGs, venipuncture, IV placement, capillary glucose tests, and assist with transport and environment-of-care duties while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Nurses Aide or Medical Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program, EMT training program or Nursing student with satisfactory completion of Nursing 101 clinical or equivalent clinical rotation Required.
• 1 year experience in a related patient care role Preferred.
• Basic Life Support Required.
