Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Support professional to assist the RN with patient care activities and support the care team in a rotating shift model. The role emphasizes patient-centered service and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and either completion of a nursing assistant program or be a nursing student with clinical rotation. Basic Life Support is required and CNA certification is preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Job Description

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or

Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses

Basic Life Support Required

Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
