UCI Health in Orange and Irvine, CA, seeks a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff by performing vital signs, basic patient care, and maintaining a clean, safe unit. You will stock supplies, operate hospital equipment as directed, and handle routine clerical tasks while delivering compassionate care.

English proficiency and basic medical terminology are required. Current BLS certification and legal ability to work in the United States are required; weekend and holiday shifts

Qualificações

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively.
• Must hold or be enrolled in CNA/LVN with completion of at least 1 clinical semester.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Take and record vital signs and assist with basic patient care.
• Assist with hygiene, elimination, and turning patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment and stock supplies.
• Operate hospital equipment as directed and perform routine clerical tasks.
