Geisinger Community Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team in Scranton, PA. The role supports patient care, clerical tasks, and unit operations on a 36-hour weekly schedule across day shifts.

We offer a $1500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, a minimum hiring rate of $16.25 with potential increases for experience, and up to $3 per hour shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Up to $40,000 in financial support to become a nurse is also available.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide patient care within the nursing assistant scope of practice.
• Identify and document patient needs and changes to licensed personnel.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Transcribe and process orders and coordinate tests and labs.
• Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient throughput.
