UW Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Pre/Post PACU team in Madison. The role supports Registered Nurses, providing direct patient care and assisting with activities of daily living in a fast-paced surgical setting.
You will help with mobility, transfers, and rounding while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Qualifications include Wisconsin-approved CNA training, registration on hire, and BLS/CPR within 3 months.
60% FTE, 24 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts, with rotating start times of 8am, 9am, and 11am. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.
This position may be eligible for a $2,400 sign-on bonus (pro-rated on FTE).
