Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA/CNA) at 1 S. Park St., Madison, WI. 100% FTE, 40 hours weekly, day/evening shifts, 7:00 am–7:30 am starts, weekdays. You will prepare patients for procedures, take vital signs, and assist with charts and patient comfort.

Qualifications include Wisconsin NA program and high school diploma; CPR/BLS within 3 months. Benefits include insurance, paid leave, and tuition support.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program Required
  • 1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred

Work Schedule

100% FTE, 40 hours per week. This is a Day/Evening position, 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with start times varying between 7:00 am-7:30 am. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at 1 S. Park St. Medical Center in Madison, WI.

Job Description

  • Obtain vital signs, reposition patients, and comfort patients.
  • You will prepare charts for the following day’s patients.
  • Interact and engage with patients and their families to establish a trusting relationship and assist with wayfinding.
  • Work within a dynamic team and be a part of a fast pace setting!

Qualifications
