Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; substitution: relevant experience may be substituted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care as delegated by the Clinical Nurse.
• Assist with procedures per hospital policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe patient and unit environment.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and daily assignments.
• Assist in orientation of new Nursing Assistants.
• Provide courteous and prompt response to patient requests.
• May cover the house as needed.
• Assist with ordering and receiving supplies, medications, manuals, and equipment.
