Job summary

Regency Hospital is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for the Oregon, OH location. This Full-Time Day Shift (6:00 am to 6:30 pm) position requires ability to pick up shifts at Sylvania and Oregon locations. Compensation ranges from $18.05 to $22 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products and assisting with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Transporting patients to and from treatment centers and assisting transporters with moveable equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and other instruments and equipment.
• Keeping patients' rooms clean and orderly; restocking supplies as directed.
• Participating in hourly rounds.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
