Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Cincinnati Downtown is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/Per Diem shifts. Work 12-hour day or night rotations at The Christ Hospital location in Cincinnati, OH. Compensation is $22.44 per hour with a $1,250 sign-on bonus.

Candidates should have a hospital NA background and BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities include bathing patients, assisting with oral care, rounds, transporting patients when needed, and maintaining cleanliness and

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem/As Needed - 12 Hour shifts - Day Shift 7:00a-7:00p & Night Shift 7:00p-7:00a

Compensation: $22.44 per Hour
