Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (NA) for Nights (7 pm–7 am) on a PRN/Per Diem basis in Nashville, TN. Compensation is $24 per hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

The CNA will perform patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, rounds, transfers, and maintaining clean rooms and equipment. Prior hospital experience and BLS within 90 days are required; 3+ years relevant work experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant or certification as CNA or related field (e.g. medical assistant).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving patients on stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
