Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - TriCities in Bristol, TN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our critical illness recovery team on a PRN/Per Diem schedule with 12-hour day shifts. Compensation is $18.50 per hour.

You’ll participate in hourly rounds, assist with patient bathing, feeding, and mobility, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while supporting a compassionate care approach. BLS within 90 days is required; prior hospital NA experience preferred; 3+ years experience or HS

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or related field (i.e. medical assistant) required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less products, oral hygiene, feeding and hair care for patients.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving patients in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
