Job summary

SSH-TriCities, LLC is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) in Bristol, Tennessee for a full-time night shift. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $22.88 per hour based on experience, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

This role supports post-ICU patients and delivers compassionate care under supervision. You will participate in rounds, assist with activities of daily living, and help transport and maintain equipment cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing and oral hygiene.
• Participate in hourly rounds and assist with transport of patients.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment and keep rooms orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
