Regency Hospital – Oregon is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to support patient care during the full-time night shift in Oregon, OH. The role involves bathing, feeding assistance, mobility support, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less methods and assist with oral care and feeding.
• Take hourly rounds to monitor patient needs and safety.
• Assist transporters by moving patients using stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs and keep patient rooms tidy.
• Restock supplies and equipment as directed to ensure unit readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nurse or supervisor.

Overview

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Location: Oregon, OH

Schedule: Full-Time Night Shift, 6:00 pm to 6:30 am

Compensation: $18.05 - $22 per hour (based on years of experience)

*This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

• Participate in hourly rounds

• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs

• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition

• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
